With a little luck, Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov got control of the ball when Pipis Karapatakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
