In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Ciriaco Macias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Indiana Jones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Heigo Luiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roberto Eztebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes, Nereo Frederico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Independiente and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Basajaun in the 26th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 31st minute of the match. Ciriaco Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Rios went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lino Rios scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Macias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Rios got free with Ciriaco Macias in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Rios was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Macias was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.A.Independiente's Ciriaco Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Beckham in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Dawid Beckham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ciriaco Macias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Macias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute AFC FUSION were awarded a corner. Dawid Beckham went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Jan Hop drilling the ball in to score 5-2 behind C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper. After 62 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente's Heigo Luiga made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Eztebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Silvino during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Baldomiro Silvino got a free kick in the 68th minute. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Baumar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Aureliano Arnau replaced Jan Hop. After 74 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Baumar. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Independiente's Javier Milei was substituted for Indiana Jones. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION were furious when Jonatan Maidana was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Christoff Stocks replaced Dawid Beckham. In the 85th minute, one of AFC FUSION:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC FUSION. AFC FUSION:s Roberto Eztebe showed great skill when he stopped Gavril Bosioc:s penalty. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Milei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Milei struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Roberto Eztebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. AFC FUSION were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.A.Independiente for a fine match.
