After a defensive mix-up in A Veces Menos Es Mas's zone, Kara Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Loyola came out of the goal and Kara Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when A Veces Menos Es Mas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toño Saura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Cipriano Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacharias Iosifakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
