Horia Tătaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Jardel Sanches skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Preator Edikt's attentive Albert Örnberg managed to snatch the ball when Rafa de Almeida made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alberto Estevon hit a great ball. Jan Pihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 46th minute of play. The Preator Edikt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grêmio FBPA were winning 0-1.

Preator Edikt's attentive Karl-Ove Örtendal managed to snatch the ball when Alberto Estevon made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filiph Biörling hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Biörling to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Horia Tătaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Estevon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Pipis Karapatakis came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Karapatakis couldn't finish the play. Grêmio FBPA made a substitution. Ted Hoogenkamp replaced Filiph Biörling. 79 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Totakoxe came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Preator Edikt got a corner. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fellipe Vianna ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Albert Örnberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches did a great save. In the 89th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When Jiang fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Preator Edikt's protests and gave Jiang a yellow card for diving instead. Jiang hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Pipis Karapatakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
