Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Llorienzo's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 27th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dawid Beckham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jan Wallman hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Dawid Beckham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal and Dawid Beckham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonatan Maidana hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Penaru in the 57th minute of the match. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 58th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Wallman to maneuver through the defense. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Arnau was substituted for Jan Hop. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawid Beckham hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Arce to maneuver through the defense. San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mo Yi Sang in the 84th minute of the match. Mo Yi Sang struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Roberto Eztebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Stocks in the 89th minute of play. Christoff Stocks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Carlomagno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC FUSION had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
