C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Santos in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno got control of the ball when Mo Yi Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Jan Wallman. The audience was convinced that Yin Wei Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Carlomagno was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 48th minute Yin Wei Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Jan Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Anselmo Valiente replaced Jacobo Garin. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen was substituted for Yin Wei Yi. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Jan Wallman got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Márk Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Márk Stephen could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Matias Carlomagno however easily saved by the left post. Márk Stephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Carlomagno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márk Stephen ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márk Stephen. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Márk Stephen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matias Carlomagno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
