Epifanio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Basajaun in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Penuel Football Club got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Amato ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Victor Amato almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A.Independiente's Ciriaco Macias did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Basajaun in the 26th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of C.A.Independiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Penuel Football Club:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heigo Luiga to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cordara Creus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nando Pereira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Macias saved C.A.Independiente from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Pereira in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Macias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Gavril Bosioc got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bartoleme Villasante hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Eduardo Pires replaced Furtado Ozaolaza. C.A.Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chen Shi Ran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
