Arnaldo Marquez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Arnaldo Marquez had several of the Surahammar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jan Lindström as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Vincent Benett got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes in the game Christian Gómez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sven-Olof Sjöberg. Tomás Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 22nd minute of play. Surahammar's Jan Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Surahammar from getting a goal against them. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 29th minute of play. Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Arnaldo Marquez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Surahammar's Jan Lindström got control of the ball when Arnaldo Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lindström having to interfere. If Cristiano Osman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Pellen in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 46th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Pettersson in the 89th minute of play. Tomás Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when André Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Osman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Pettersson in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Candelaria FC were the better team. Candelaria FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
