The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Durval da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval da Costa saved Warriors Máfia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Bernal in the 14th minute of play forced Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warriors Máfia:s Durval da Costa showed great skill when he stopped Miguel Almiron:s penalty. Durval da Costa came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron. But to his dismay, Miguel Almiron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Peto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Baltasar Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Bernal in the 35th minute of play forced Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Warriors Máfia getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Doriva Alves hit a great ball. Apolo Peto's late challenge caught a Warriors Máfia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Peto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Warriors Máfia booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Peto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Miguel Almiron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacro Balompié's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Almiron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Durval da Costa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Warriors Máfia's Durval da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 73rd minute of play.
