Rene Aires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Durval da Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Loco De Remate's Amado Nisio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Warriors Máfia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Rene Aires scored to the left of an out of position Durval da Costa, making the score, 3-0. The Loco De Remate fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Loco De Remate's Rene Aires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors Máfia's zone, Godfredo Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval da Costa came out of the goal and Godfredo Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Eliseu Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warriors Máfia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loco De Remate the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Warriors Máfia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. The Loco De Remate fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Loco De Remate's Rene Aires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Eliseu Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Warriors Máfia! It was a brilliant solo performance by Loco De Remate's Mehmet Emrah Ruşen when he shot the ball into the net to 6-0 in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Rene Aires took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Durval da Costa to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Warriors Máfia's Eliseu Soeiro got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 40th minute of play forced Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durval da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilles Michiels to strike the kick off in the second half. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. Durval da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Alberto Kempes got free with Walmir Catarinense in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Warriors Máfia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Aires might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Aires ran back to his position shaking his head. When Loco De Remate's Baškim Sumulikovski, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Loco De Remate. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Rene Aires put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durval da Costa. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Durval da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Iratxo in the 72nd minute of the match.
