The audience thought a goal was coming when Deilmison van Basten got free with Xiao Ting Yang in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Deilmison van Basten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xiao Ting Yang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xiao Ting Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Albäck in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Saul Roman. In the 22nd minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xiao Ting Yang. Xiao Ting Yang yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The corner ended in Vitor Beckenbauer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xiao Ting Yang did a great save. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Almkvist went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Xiao Ting Yang got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deilmison van Basten struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Xiao Ting Yang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indar Albizua in the 90th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão do Vale's late challenge caught a C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
