In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carterton's goalkeeper Clever Ovie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu in the 21st minute of play forced Carterton's goalkeeper Clever Ovie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atıf Erseç kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Clever Ovie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmakci. In the 45th minute, Acun Uğuray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basmakci fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Carterton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bola Ezeafulukwe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carterton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Clever Ovie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıhan Başesgi in the 89th minute of the match. If Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
