In the 4th minute, one of Alexandria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alexandria. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria's zone, Johann Kaas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho do Vale came out of the goal and Johann Kaas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho do Vale made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Johann Kaas sent off a good shot on target. Léo Prestes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Pinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Robert Schowanek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
