Boyisani Nkadimeng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johann Kaas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Loris Strasser hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Johann Kaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Boyisani Nkadimeng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Spindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nkosi Thompson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Robert Schowanek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyisani Nkadimeng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maxwell Mufadi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Maqwathini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxwell Mufadi couldn't finish the play. Johann Kaas might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyisani Nkadimeng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johann Kaas ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Maqwathini booed when Küstorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Rohleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Spindler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nkosi Thompson in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Thami Ngake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nkosi Thompson in the 35th minute of play forced Küstorf's goalkeeper Mustafa Spindler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Küstorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loris Strasser to maneuver through the defense. Thami Ngake was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Maxwell Mufadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Loris Strasser came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Küstorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loris Strasser couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Küstorf getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Loris Strasser hit a great ball. Nkosi Thompson struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Mustafa Spindler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maqwathini. The Maqwathini players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Küstorf were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Schowanek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Robert Schowanek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Küstorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Schowanek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyisani Nkadimeng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johann Kaas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Boyisani Nkadimeng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Maqwathini's Boyisani Nkadimeng got control of the ball when Johann Kaas tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nkosi Thompson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Spindler saved Küstorf from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Küstorf's Loris Strasser got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Maqwathini defense, Robert Schowanek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyisani Nkadimeng. The Maqwathini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyisani Nkadimeng should have stopped the shot. Robert Schowanek struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Boyisani Nkadimeng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Küstorf. In the 75th minute, Nicolas Patel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johann Kaas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Küstorf booed when Maqwathini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Legako Kerns didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Johann Kaas sped through Maqwathini's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boyisani Nkadimeng. A collision led to Maqwathini getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sipho Mafuna hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nkosi Thompson in the 88th minute of play forced Küstorf's goalkeeper Mustafa Spindler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Küstorf's goalkeeper Mustafa Spindler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Küstorf walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
