Alexandria's Robinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu in the 15th minute of play. Fuat Ünseven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrianinho Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Adrianinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Ünseven having to interfere. With a little luck, Basmakci's Fuat Ünseven got control of the ball when Oséas Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Basmakci's Batıhan Başesgi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robinho do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Léo Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Alexandria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Prestes couldn't finish the play. Oséas Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fuat Ünseven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Pinho got free with Fuat Ünseven in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Batıhan Başesgi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robinho do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 38th minute, Léo Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yunus Özberk fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basmakci's protests and gave Yunus Özberk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alexandria booed when Basmakci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yunus Özberk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adrianinho Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria's protests and gave Adrianinho Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alexandria's Adrianinho Gonçalves got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Anísio Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Robinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Basmakci's zone, Léo Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fuat Ünseven came out of the goal and Léo Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu made a kick off. With his leg Robinho do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Basmakci's Batıhan Başesgi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fuat Ünseven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Prestes in the 55th minute of play. Sarp Toygun kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho do Vale having to interfere. Adrianinho Gonçalves was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Oséas Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fuat Ünseven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria. After 77 minutes of play, Alexandria's Waldemar Pinho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fuat Ünseven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséas Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orhan Veli Boz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Robinho do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmakci. Mustafa Oğuz Pamiroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandria's Robinho do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Basmakci players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alexandria.
