The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armin Schädel hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. AMs FC Bayern München's Rocky Besser got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Spindler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Rohde in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Johann Kaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeus Reffelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johann Kaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Amadeus Reffelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Robert Schowanek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Küstorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Schowanek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Schowanek in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeus Reffelmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Robert Schowanek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Küstorf defense, Clemens Küntzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Spindler. The Küstorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Spindler should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Johann Kaas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Küstorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Johann Kaas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeus Reffelmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Schowanek was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Küstorf were awarded a corner. Ilja Schaechter went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Küstorf's corner Armin Schädel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeus Reffelmann quite easily take care of the ball. Amadeus Reffelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Schowanek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johann Kaas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Amadeus Reffelmann made a huge save. Johann Kaas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeus Reffelmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AMs FC Bayern München's Clemens Küntzel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mustafa Spindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Rohde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave AMs FC Bayern München a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerold Wagner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Küstorf's Mustafa Spindler. 3-0. Amadeus Reffelmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johann Kaas went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Küstorf booed when AMs FC Bayern München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerold Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes, Küstorf's Ilja Schaechter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amadeus Reffelmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Küstorf reached it. In the 85th minute, Rocky Besser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
