A collision led to Carterton getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ettah Adediji hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Gerold Wagner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clever Ovie skillfully saved the ball. Bola Ezeafulukwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osar Etete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amadeus Reffelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermann Geerdes charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermann Geerdes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes AMs FC Bayern München got a freekick which was hit by Hermann Geerdes. Rocky Besser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clever Ovie having to interfere. A collision led to Carterton getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Chikadibia Bature hit a great ball. Bola Ezeafulukwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amadeus Reffelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bola Ezeafulukwe might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeus Reffelmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bola Ezeafulukwe ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 played minutes Carterton got a freekick which was hit by Ettah Adediji. Jonas Rohde struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Clever Ovie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMs FC Bayern München. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocky Besser got free with Clever Ovie in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Rohde in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clever Ovie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gbenga Dimeji during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gbenga Dimeji hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, AMs FC Bayern München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemens Küntzel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bola Ezeafulukwe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton's supporters rose to their feet, but Bola Ezeafulukwe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeus Reffelmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Carterton's zone, Rocky Besser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clever Ovie came out of the goal and Rocky Besser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carterton's Clever Ovie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Rohde in the 69th minute of play. Jonas Rohde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes, Carterton's Ettah Adediji shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amadeus Reffelmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carterton reached it. Jonas Rohde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clever Ovie having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Osar Etete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AMs FC Bayern München booed when Carterton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chikadibia Bature didn't get a good kick on the ball.
