An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Miodek in the 10th minute of play forced Habo Grindavík's goalkeeper Betúel Jósefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Leszek Chodzinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betúel Jósefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Játmundsson in the 14th minute of play forced Skorupków SA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Perkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Perkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safír Geislason in the 15th minute of the match. Geirarður Knútsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Boguslaw Perkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Skorupków SA's Janusz Patora got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geirarður Knútsson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boguslaw Perkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fjörnir Guðbjartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Janusz Patora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Betúel Jósefsson made a huge save. In the 56th minute Boruc Gniewek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betúel Jósefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betúel Jósefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Perkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geirarður Knútsson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Skorupków SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geirarður Knútsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Ernst Játmundsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Boguslaw Perkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Habo Grindavík. Geirarður Knútsson took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boguslaw Perkowski. Boguslaw Perkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skorupków SA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Habo Grindavík.
