Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Küstorf's Robert Schowanek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Kaas in the 4th minute of play forced Carterton's goalkeeper Clever Ovie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bola Ezeafulukwe got free with Mustafa Spindler in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Robert Schowanek came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Küstorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Schowanek couldn't finish the play. If Johann Kaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Johann Kaas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Küstorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johann Kaas couldn't finish the play. With his leg Mustafa Spindler managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Carterton's Bola Ezeafulukwe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osar Etete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mustafa Spindler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clever Ovie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Schowanek in the 24th minute of the match. If Robert Schowanek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osar Etete hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Küstorf's Robert Schowanek got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Johann Kaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osar Etete to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Küstorf's Robert Schowanek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clever Ovie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Bola Ezeafulukwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osar Etete in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Spindler saved Küstorf from getting behind. In the 59th match minute, Carterton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Monday Olopade to maneuver through the defense. Carterton's Clever Ovie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Carterton from getting a goal against them. Clever Ovie made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Johann Kaas sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Chikadibia Bature hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clever Ovie was a little too slow when Robert Schowanek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 68 played minutes Carterton got a freekick which was hit by Eric Monday Olopade. In the 72nd of the match, Robert Schowanek tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Clever Ovie got in the way and made a wonderful save. Armin Schädel's late challenge caught a Carterton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Schädel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Küstorf's Armin Schädel got a free kick in the 86th minute. Mustafa Spindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osar Etete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Küstorf had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
