Horsham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jupp von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Louis Hundhammer notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Przechuje's Leonard Chowaniec. Leonard Chowaniec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jupp von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Horsham United defense, Zenon Odachowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Bamberger. The Horsham United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Bamberger should have stopped the shot. Louis Hundhammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Leonard Chowaniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
