In the 27th match minute, Alvi Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Zülfü Yalazay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Téo Leite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Frédson Freddie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ergün Şener was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ergün Şener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilbert Ugalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ergün Şener was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Leandro Heidemann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After some careless play in the NoWayOut defense, Wilbert Ugalde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ergün Şener. The NoWayOut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ergün Şener should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind NoWayOut's goalkeeper Ergün Şener, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match Alvi Verde got a corner. NoWayOut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Attila Kiss ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of NoWayOut's goalie and right to Wilbert Ugalde. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. NoWayOut's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Téo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Yalazay in the 88th minute of the match. NoWayOut's Ergün Şener proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save NoWayOut from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Alvi Verde were awarded a corner. Attila Kiss went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Attila Kiss got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ergün Şener quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 94 minutes, Samet Ergökmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NoWayOut and the Alvi Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes NoWayOut got a freekick which was hit by Samet Ergökmen. With a little luck, NoWayOut's Ergün Şener got control of the ball when Leandro Heidemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Alvi Verde got a corner. NoWayOut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Attila Kiss ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pascal Klingen charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Klingen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 98 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's Attila Kiss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergün Şener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Alvi Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alvi Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
