BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lundin in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Josu Onez in the 27 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josu Onez to maneuver through the defense. Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Big Hands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Big Hands read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bolo Skjold. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bolo Skjold should have stopped the shot. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Velde in the 47 minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Skarkman made a kick off. Big Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Ulrik Söderlund fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Protegéerna's protests and gave Ulrik Söderlund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Protegéerna's Andres Lander was substituted for Fernando Arango. Protegéerna made a substitution. Guido Python replaced Jakob Lundin. Protegéerna's Arman Lingren was substituted for Cosme Demesio. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cirilo Arlo in the 79th minute.
