Spectators: 3090 (Terracing: 2318, Seating: 711, VIP seats: 61) 6 minutes into the match, Artur Walczak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Chiuzbaian, 1-0. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Iftode in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolek Kiszkiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Maghiran to maneuver through the defense. Emil Wielopolski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tolek Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fabian Czeszejko came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Chiuzbaian could save by the left post. In the 26th minute Fabian Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Czeszejko got free with Ivan Chiuzbaian in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Olimpia HSB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petre Iftode took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Kiszkiel saved Olimpia HSB from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Wielopolski in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Kiszkiel saved Olimpia HSB from getting behind. Emil Wielopolski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Czeszejko made a kick off. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Grigore Maghiran made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olimpia HSB's Calito Izquierdoz. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Olimpia HSB from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 65th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabian Czeszejko came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Olimpia HSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Czeszejko couldn't finish the play. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Tomáš Petrásek replaced Sixto Yanguas. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Mirotić in the 80th minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Olimpia HSB defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. The Olimpia HSB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Kiszkiel should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

Olimpia HSB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
