An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 16th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Andreas Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Palmkvist got free with Celso Janpier in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Nordlund charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Nordlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Tim Nordlund got a free kick in the 26th minute. Zebastian Palmkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Eudoxio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Svensson was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Lin Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zebastian Palmkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jacobo Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zebastian Palmkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC NILS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Palmkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from José Luis Cucciufo in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC NILS's Sigvard Blixt. Diego Latorre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Andreas Svensson made a huge save. After 64 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Edberg. Defensores de Lombroso's Toto Belmonte was substituted for Santiago Hunfredo. In the 65th match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Edberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Darin Bozduganov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NILS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darin Bozduganov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC NILS's Wen Xuan Yin was substituted for Darin Bozduganov. Americo Portas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Wen Xuan Yin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Janpier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wen Xuan Yin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sigvard Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Xuan Yin in the 88th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Di Yuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celso Janpier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Di Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Janpier having to make a save. The Defensores de Lombroso players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
