An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Maya in the 4th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Wincenty Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincenty Balkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Soare in the 11th minute of the match. Mustafa Emrah Vahip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Balkiewicz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Maya in the 20th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Wincenty Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Cyprian Logewnik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charis Manatakis. Cyprian Logewnik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Mesere getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Inko Sagrario hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Mesere's goalkeeper Charis Manatakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyprian Logewnik. The Irons Chorzów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cyprian Logewnik in the 27th minute. Mustafa Emrah Vahip charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Emrah Vahip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Mesere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emrah Vahip to maneuver through the defense. The Irons Chorzów's Wincenty Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Emrah Vahip in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Mesere's Edgard Maya made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wincenty Balkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kacper Bilicki hit a great ball. Wincenty Balkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Ahedo in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wojciech Molski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mesere were furious when Ventzislav Slúnchev was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Mesere:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Irons Chorzów:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for The Irons Chorzów. Cyprian Logewnik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Charis Manatakis. 2-2. In the 56th minute Slawomir Mentus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Manatakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slawomir Mentus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charis Manatakis having to interfere. Fermin Ahedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wincenty Balkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Irons Chorzów's Wincenty Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Emrah Vahip in the 69th minute of play. Mustafa Emrah Vahip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincenty Balkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Mustafa Emrah Vahip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wincenty Balkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the The Irons Chorzów defense, Fermin Ahedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Balkiewicz. The The Irons Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Balkiewicz should have stopped the shot. Mustafa Emrah Vahip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Wincenty Balkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Mentus. After 84 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Reiner Braun. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Fermin Ahedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Balkiewicz came out of the goal and Fermin Ahedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Vasile Soare notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of The Irons Chorzów's Wincenty Balkiewicz. Wincenty Balkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mesere's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
