Charis Manatakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Corfitzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Innocenzio Barcenas during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Edgard Maya rounded Injuries's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habakkuk Shearer in the 41st minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Charis Manatakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
