The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Gaueko got free with Leonides Galtero in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Loco Cabezon booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 12th minute of play. Apolo Peto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Leonides Galtero made a huge save. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Jonas Haritzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loco Cabezon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacro Balompié the free kick. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Isidoro Izel replaced Jeremias Gaueko. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Boni made a kick off. In the 57th minute Apolo Peto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Perico in the 59th minute of play. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
