Florencio Oihan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Leon Martino 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palomar F.C.'s zone, Ernesto Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Martino came out of the goal and Ernesto Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Florencio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Oihan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 58th minute Arif Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of United booed when Palomar F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Martino came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by United's Zlatan Gigant. But to his dismay, Zlatan Gigant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Zlatan Gigant might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Martino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zlatan Gigant ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Martino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Florencio Oihan scored 11-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Martino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palomar F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for United.
