The supporters of BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudentio Trespuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Archie Litchfield took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Epifanio Xacintu to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Normando in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's goalkeeper Epifanio Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Stor. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Nasir Nesefi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordache Strugure during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eddie Van Halen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Józef Mlynarczyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
