In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capari's goalkeeper Kosta Spirkovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Marquês de Herval's Moussa Kabre to fire away a dangerous shot which Kosta Spirkovski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Capari's Kosta Spirkovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 33rd minute of play. Alfredo Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kosta Spirkovski having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kosta Spirkovski, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kosta Spirkovski saved Capari from getting behind. After some careless play in the Capari defense, German Cano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kosta Spirkovski. The Capari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kosta Spirkovski should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Martins made a kick off. Kosta Spirkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kosta Spirkovski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Natanail Jordanov sent off a good shot on target.
