Spectators: 474 (Terracing: 356, Seating: 109, VIP seats: 9) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kirby Mathews took the kick off in the first half of the match. Drew Shultz made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kirby Mathews sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes of play, Resolution's François Spaulding made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drew Shultz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th play minute Kirby Mathews came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Drew Shultz. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Omar Donnelly took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Drew Shultz to make any attempt to save it. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Drew Shultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Donnelly in the 18th minute of play. Resolution's Florentino Wynn got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirby Mathews had several of the São Paulo Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Drew Shultz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Drew Shultz was a little too slow when Kirby Mathews got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 36th minute, Kirby Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kirby Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirby Mathews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Shultz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drew Shultz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Donnelly's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kirby Waller during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes São Paulo Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Kirby Waller.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gordon Haas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Donnelly in the 51st minute of play forced São Paulo Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Drew Shultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute François Spaulding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Shultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Drew Shultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Wynn in the 61st minute of play. Michale Coffey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregg Benjamin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Resolution's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kirby Mathews in the 67th minute. Kirby Mathews made a great header on Resolution's corner, it was just that São Paulo Futebol Clube's Drew Shultz managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th minute, Alan Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes, Mckinley Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resolution and the São Paulo Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kirby Mathews in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drew Shultz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mckinley Lee got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo Futebol Clube's zone, François Spaulding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew Shultz came out of the goal and François Spaulding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

There was no doubt that Resolution were the better team. Resolution's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
