Spectators: 453 (Terracing: 340, Seating: 104, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Xabier started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Júbilo Iwata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vygandas Borgela was slow to take the kick. During this time Bytlaukis FC's players had a chance to rest. The Júbilo Iwata fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Júbilo Iwata's Ivan Xabier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute Jerônimo Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rimas Morkūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ivan Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Zé Roberto Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bytlaukis FC's Rimas Morkūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Xabier in the 28th minute of play. With splendid footwork Ivan Xabier arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 30th minute. Bytlaukis FC's Rimas Morkūnas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Bytlaukis FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bytlaukis FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Juras Mackevičius hit a great ball. Rimvydas Stackevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Giovanni Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rimas Morkūnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juras Mackevičius struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Giovanni Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bytlaukis FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rimvydas Stackevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Ivan Xabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rimas Morkūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júbilo Iwata's Giovanni Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 62nd minute of play. Zé Roberto Velasco took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rimas Morkūnas. Rimas Morkūnas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zé Roberto Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Júbilo Iwata's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Roberto Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rimas Morkūnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jerônimo Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Júbilo Iwata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Mangueira couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Zé Roberto Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rimas Morkūnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Rimas Morkūnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 88th match minute, Júbilo Iwata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match, Rimvydas Stackevičius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giovanni Pena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute Bytlaukis FC were awarded a corner. Vygandas Borgela went to the cornerflag to take it. Vygandas Borgela made a great header on Bytlaukis FC's corner, it was just that Júbilo Iwata's Giovanni Pena managed to reach the ball for a save.

Júbilo Iwata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
