A collision led to Piratas Athletic Club getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Baldomiro Odon hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Ali Kaan Kamver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Hermelando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kıraç Rikap in the 17th minute of play forced Piratas Athletic Club's goalkeeper Ladislao Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Piratas Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. Erim Sarphan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ladislao Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mersin İdman Yurdu. Abdi Mehmet Sanal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Mehmet Sanal to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Florentino Otsoko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Kaan Kamver skillfully saved the ball. Mateo Hermelando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Kaan Kamver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Ali Kaan Kamver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Piratas Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hakan Başel came free, but Ladislao Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Piratas Athletic Club's Mateo Hermelando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Piratas Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Sadan came free, but Ladislao Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Mateo Hermelando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mersin İdman Yurdu's Ali Kaan Kamver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güven Öktuna kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Levent Sadan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Levent Sadan to make the kick off. Ladislao Johans made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kıraç Rikap sent off a good shot on target. Mersin İdman Yurdu's Ali Kaan Kamver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Odon in the 57th minute of play. Ali Kaan Kamver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Hermelando in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Mersin İdman Yurdu getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kıraç Rikap hit a great ball. Ali Kaan Kamver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Hermelando, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Hermelando came free, but Ali Kaan Kamver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Piratas Athletic Club's Baldomiro Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Kaan Kamver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 76th minute Kıraç Rikap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Johans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Mateo Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas Athletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Hermelando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Mateo Hermelando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Kaan Kamver was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 86 minutes of play, Piratas Athletic Club's Mateo Hermelando made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Kaan Kamver was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Kaan Kamver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Piratas Athletic Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mersin İdman Yurdu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
