When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, 傅政西 took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vilgot Tolsson to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes in the game Henry Strömbom did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Yngve Thidén. 傅政西 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Tolsson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 68th minute, 袁骋渊 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilgot Tolsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If 曾克荣 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Mikael Siöberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 蒋笑星. The goal made the score 6-1. 78 minutes into the match, AC Björkmo's goal looked a bit too open when 曾克荣 came free, but Vilgot Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 曾克荣 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. After 94 minutes of play, SV Werder Bremen's 傅政西 made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilgot Tolsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! SV Werder Bremen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
