Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Ladislao Johans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 36 minutes, Artemio Dolcet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratas Athletic Club and the SV Werder Bremen players grew even worse after the yellow card.
