If Levent Sadan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Hüseyin Can Tuncel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ağrı Kocaeli Vefa Spor fans jumped to their feet. With a left leg Ali Kaan Kamver saved Mersin İdman Yurdu from getting behind. Ali Kaan Kamver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Babayiğit in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Can Tuncel came free, but Ali Kaan Kamver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hüseyin Can Tuncel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Kaan Kamver was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kıraç Rikap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersin İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kıraç Rikap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürcan Özbilge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
