To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of VfL Bochum 1848 booed when KV Mechelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 汪适崇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes in the game 莫勇光 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 雷迅益. After a rather tough play, VfL Bochum 1848's 陶枫常 got a free kick in the 28th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
