Flamengo FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mastur Bandov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Furtado ran back to his position shaking his head. Mastur Bandov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Furtado in the 81st minute. William Simão got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramón Furtado. In the 91st match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Simão to maneuver through the defense. When Ramón Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flamengo FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Furtado couldn't finish the play. Flamengo FSCMZ played a much better game than Jacuitiba - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
