Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso da Cunha in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickaël Maris saved Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting behind. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Gerazan in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Afonso da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mickaël Maris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Gerazan got free with Ludomil Ziomkowski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mickaël Maris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 19th minute of the match. Afonso da Cunha scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mickaël Maris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Gerazan got free with Ludomil Ziomkowski in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Gerazan. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Măcrinici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Măcrinici to make the kick off. Liviu Terzian struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mickaël Maris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Laércio Penha replaced Ladislao Gerazan. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Andrézinho Vaz replaced Horaţiu Măcrinici. Mickaël Maris made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Xande Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha. But to his dismay, Afonso da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Wlodzimierz Swoboda was substituted for David Brás. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Zhou Wei Fan was substituted for Virgiawan Laturua. Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Nova Iguaçu MZFC defense, Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mickaël Maris. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mickaël Maris should have stopped the shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mickaël Maris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Mickaël Maris made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Afonso da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Zhou Wei Fan notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris. Mickaël Maris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Heitor Ferreira in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Xande Campbell. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
