Mickaël Maris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaká Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Carneiro in the 51st minute of play. 51 minutes into the game, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Kaká Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 70th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Vale to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Lenílson Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Shu Zhen in the 74th minute of play. Andrézinho Vaz came free in the 76th minute and tried to tip the ball over Romulo Viator, but to the joy of OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters the ball went over. Carolo Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros was slow to take the kick. During this time Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th minute of the match Luiz Fábio de Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Viator showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
