With a little luck, ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғᴄ's Bahadırhan Demiroğlu got control of the ball when Shawn Seracino Inglott tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Valetta Pirates FC's Sebastian Sapiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Sarvan in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Valetta Pirates FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Sapiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yağızalp Tanbay. When Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғᴄ fans jumped to their feet. After 88 played minutes Valetta Pirates FC got a freekick which was hit by Justin Montanaro. In the 89th minute of the match Yağızalp Tanbay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Sapiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valetta Pirates FC's Leo Friggieri pulled a muscle in his leg after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Yağızalp Tanbay charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yağızalp Tanbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızalp Tanbay to maneuver through the defense. ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғᴄ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
