The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Polakowski got free with Rogério Ceni in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Przemyslaw Polakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BYDGOSTIA's Ignacy Kilarski got a free kick in the 9th minute. Divina Comédia FC's Váldson Lopes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BYDGOSTIA. 13 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Valladares came free, but Stasio Rozanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Flavinho Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divina Comédia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BYDGOSTIA the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Ceni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Przemyslaw Polakowski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Luiz Eduardo Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BYDGOSTIA's Franciszek Wierzcholek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Divina Comédia FC. Stasio Rozanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Furtado in the 34th minute of play. Przemyslaw Polakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by BYDGOSTIA's Ziemowit Turek. But to his dismay, Ziemowit Turek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Przemyslaw Polakowski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Polakowski in the 55th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andrzej Bury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dieguinho de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Hermes. In the 67th minute, Ziemowit Turek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 72nd match minute, BYDGOSTIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Kaczynski to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Dieguinho de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, BYDGOSTIA's Stasio Rozanski got control of the ball when Dorian Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorian Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stasio Rozanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Dorian Valladares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stasio Rozanski. BYDGOSTIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian Valladares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. There was no doubt that BYDGOSTIA were the better team. BYDGOSTIA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
