Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Guedes in the 7th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Carlos Marinho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jhon Barcellos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon Barcellos came free, but Carlos Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jhon Barcellos hit a great ball. Agostinho Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysses Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Laerte Marquez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Carlos Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Simão went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vítor da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. David Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Palestra do Interior from getting a goal against them. 卡納里尼奧 FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
