Koča Yarangga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Şener Yurtseven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhon Barcellos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necdet Bala during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 40 minutes, Ivo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Simão in the 45th minute of play forced Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Şener Yurtseven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aşkın Nasih was the one to do the kick off. Serafim Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şener Yurtseven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Jhon Barcellos in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Behiç Suni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şener Yurtseven. That made the score 1-1 after 63 minutes of play. Şener Yurtseven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhon Barcellos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jhon Barcellos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şener Yurtseven came out and tried to block the shot, but Jhon Barcellos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. William Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Şener Yurtseven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon Barcellos in the 82nd minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koča Yarangga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Jhon Barcellos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şener Yurtseven. The goal made the score 1-4. Battal Cüneyt Özbil kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Ivo Fantini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şener Yurtseven showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palestra do Interior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
