The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Valdemar Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aílton Sousa hit a great ball. Agostinho Guedes scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fernando Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Valdemar Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 38 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Guedes. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Guerra in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Régis Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 卡納里尼奧 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jovens Democratas MZC the free kick. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Marinho came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Valdemar Guerra. But to his dismay, Valdemar Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Jovens Democratas MZC defense, Agostinho Guedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Silva. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fernando Silva should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Régis Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Paulinho Fonseca put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Marinho. Carlos Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Valdemar Guerra scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Marinho, making the score, 2-5. Luiz Fernando Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte Marquez's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulinho Fonseca got free with Carlos Marinho in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedito Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Agostinho Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 卡納里尼奧 FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jovens Democratas MZC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jovens Democratas MZC.
