Tião Castro started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rubinho Tavares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tião Castro scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Justin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Frechoso got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 13 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Moreno. In the 14th minute, Dionisio Monico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Edvaldo Bueno put in a rough tackle. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Dionisio Monico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo do Valle. 1-1. In the 24th minute Joaquin Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. COURO COME FC's Hugo do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Kiliz in the 26th minute of play. Bernardo Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Antônio Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Justin came out of the goal and Antônio Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Joanes went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Basilio Justin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Antônio Tasso sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Castro to maneuver through the defense. Hugo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ranolfo in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Felipo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonatan Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Felipo in the 47th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Jonatan Felipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo do Valle. COURO COME FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Felipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Elpidio Shantala was substituted for Bernardo Ranolfo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Felipo got free with Hugo do Valle in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Castro to maneuver through the defense. Hugo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Paulin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo do Valle was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Antônio Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Basilio Justin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonatan Felipo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
