In the 14thth minute of the game Galo Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Fernando de Lara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Frechoso hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Neto got free with Basilio Justin in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Galo Mineiro. But to his dismay, Galo Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Felipo in the 40th minute of the match. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Felipo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teodoro Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute, Murilo Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Felipo got free with Gil Coelho in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Umberto Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Atlanta's Leonardo Paulin was substituted for Joaquin Fonso. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Elpidio Shantala replaced Bernardo Ranolfo. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jonatan Felipo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Galo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Justin having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Kiliz. In the 91st minute Teodoro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Murilo Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 92 minutes into the game, one of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 94 minutes into the match, Dionisio Monico notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho. Gil Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barcellos Mineiro FC had won after a very even match.
