Samuca Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Maciel got free with Luiz Fernando Silva in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Fonseca in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Bezerra saved Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting behind. When Tiago Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Tiago Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedito Tande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuca Bezerra. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Samuca Bezerra came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Valdemar Guerra. But to his dismay, Valdemar Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Fontes in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulinho Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Bezerra having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Aílton Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aílton Sousa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Fontes in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Sousa got free with Samuca Bezerra in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Alfredo de Moraes was substituted for Marcinho Sampaio. Luiz Fernando Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovens Democratas MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Coutinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Arnaldo Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fernando Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valdemar Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Samuca Bezerra made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Arce in the 83rd minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Bezerra came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Paulinho Fonseca. But to his dismay, Paulinho Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Jovens Democratas MZC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
