With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson got control of the ball when Dove Roig tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Gabriel Hermansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Domenech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Samuel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With his leg Reine Pettersson managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Herblay's Dove Roig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dove Roig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Charles Gauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 38th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nils-Erik Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Gauche in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Jean-Charles Gauche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Samuel. In the 58th minute of the match Malcolm Deckberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Domenech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jean-Charles Gauche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herblay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Charles Gauche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Jean-Charles Gauche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Preator Edikt's zone, Gildas Montaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Pettersson came out of the goal and Gildas Montaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Preator Edikt's Olof Östman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gabriel Hermansson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Preator Edikt's zone, Jean-Charles Gauche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Pettersson came out of the goal and Jean-Charles Gauche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Östman came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Domenech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
