After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Alfredo de Moraes got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Sousa came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jovens Democratas MZC reached it. After having played for 24 minutes, Paulinho Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Jovens Democratas MZC's Paulinho Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jovens Democratas MZC's Luiz Fernando Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Charles Gauche in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Fonseca in the 45th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Norbert Domenech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Fonseca came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Lucien Decottignies got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Paulinho Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Norbert Domenech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC played a much better game than Herblay and deserved their victory. The Herblay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
